Welsh twee-pop septet Los Campesinos! have had a mighty ought-eight. Aside from releasing not one, but two exuberant, ridiculously-titled albums —Hold On Now, Youngster... and We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed— the sprawling co-op have taken their manic liveshow on the road around the world. Returning to the United Kingdom to celebrate the release of We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed, Los Campesinos! have sought to make their latest bout of touring special by cobbling together an all-killer, no-filler bill.
Personally soliciting the services of two of their own favorites —lo-fi scuzz-poppers Times New Viking and fawned-over white-noise wielders No Age— Los Campesinos! have put together a tour that doubles as a triple-play of some of 2008's most buzzed-about bands.
