Diplo, the Philadelphia-based beatmaker cum party-startin' DJ, has cobbled together an almighty touring spectacle to close out 2008. Through October and November, M.I.A.'s one-time partner-in-crime will be touring through North America, headlining a bill whose able-bodied support includes two of this year's most red-hottest rock-combos.
Diplo will be joined by Brooklynite psych-synth starlets Telepathe, whose bass-heavy tunes have been championed by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, who produced their forthcoming debut LP, Dance Mother F**ker. As if that weren't enough, there's also Abe Vigoda, the scrappy LA quartet whose face-melting Skeleton LP is shaping as one of '08's best records.
Also along for the ride will be console-killing electro weenie 8-Bit Boy, and, as a random, added bonus, those in the American capital will find their Mad Decent DC bill coming replete with increasingly-popular Sub Pop recording artists, No Age. Extra noise for no added cost!
