Primal Scream's tenth full-length album is coming. It's called More Light, and it's due out on the 6th of May, via the band's own Ignition imprint.
There's no artwork, trackist, or carefully-crafted bio yet, but there is a first single, and a video. The jam is called "2013," topically enough. It's loud and boisterous and saxophone blasted, and, oh, yes, it features the King Of 2013, Kevin Shields, on noise guitar.
Fun fact!: Primal Scream's Screamedelica and My Bloody Valentine's Loveless came out mere weeks apart back in 1991. In the 22 years since, MBV has now made all of one album, 2013's MBV. More Light will be the seventh Primal Scream album in the same time.
More info to come when there is more. And expect Bobby Gillespie and co. coming soon to a Summer Rock Festival near you...
