Unknown Mortal Orchestra have just released their second LP, II. And, sure enough, it takes Ruban Nielson's wobbly, washed-out, psychedelic-pop to more band-oriented places, loses the hip-hop-ish edge that rattled beneath the self-titled UMO LP's home-made beat-loops.

Where II takes UMO to more rockist places, the Little Dragon remix drags them, predictably, in another direction entirely. Which would be: to the dancefloor. Run through the Swedish electro-minimalist's filter, the Sunshine pop of "Swim and Sleep (Like a Shark)" gets turned into a piece of proggy space-disco.
