Popstrangers are a rockband from Auckland, New Zealand. And, like so many New Zealanders, they were verily raised on the Flying Nun catalog; bands like The Bats, The Chills, and The Clean the Kiwi equivalents of classic rock.

The trio match classic indie jangle with the more distorted crunch synonymous with '90s alterna-rock; their debut LP, Antipodes, the work of an indie-rock band who have a deep love for a bunch of old indie-rock records.

Befitting its single status, "Heaven" finds Popstrangers at their shortest, sharpest, most melodic, and most 'pop'. Showing the band has a familiarity with verses and choruses, hooks and riffs.
