Beach Fossils' long-awaited second album is, finally, an actuality. Clash the Truth arrives in February, three years after their great 2009 debut. And it's really, really good.

"Careless" is the first taste of that goodness: featuring all the classic indie jangle, yearning vocals, and persistent melancholy familiar to fans, yet with a high, careening, verily sorchin' guitar break that suggests the more voluminous, uptempo, guitar-rock changes on the album.
