Marnie Stern's New LP is Called The Chronicles of Marnia

By December 12, 2012

Instantly becoming the front-runner for the Best Album Title of 2013, Marnie Stern has announced that her new album will be called The Chronicles of Marnia. Awesome.

The Chronicles of Marnia is the fourth-album for the fretboard-tappin', guitar-shreddin', riot-grrrl-schooled original, and marks the follow-up to her self-titled 2010 LP. It's, again, released on Kill Rock Stars, and is due out March 19.

The first single from the album is its opening track, "Year of the Glad." The track suggests what lays in stern on the album: filled with Stern's wild guitar work, yet sounding less manic and more melodic, with her vocals actual put forth above the shred.

The Chronicles of Marnia Track List:
1. "Year of the Glad"
2. "You Don't Turn Down"
3. "Noonan"
4. "Nothing is Easy"
5. "Immortals"
6. "The Chronicles of Marnia"
7. "Still Moving"
8. "East Side Glory"
9. "Proof of Life"
10. "Hell Yes"
