Sandro Perri Tours Europe, Supports Destroyer in the US

By April 19, 2012

Follow me on:

Sandro Perri had an awesome 2011. The Candian experimentalist-cum-crooner returned, after a four year lay-off, with the brilliant Impossible Spaces, which landed at #11 on my Best Albums of 2011 countdown. The LP was highlighted by two tracks, "How Will I?" and "Wolfman," that were two of the year's most awe-inspiring pieces of popular music.

But even as his '11 was drowning in critical plaudits, Perri was quiet on the live front; following up the release of Impossible Spaces with but a handful of gigs. Finally, months on, Perri has announced a proper run of tour dates. In May, he'll undertake a European Tour culminating at a spot at Primavera Sound, before returning to North America in June for a month-long US tour supporting Destroyer, an act who also issued a pretty good record in 2011.
