If you live on the West Coast of the United States of America, you're lucky. Not simply because you're in the middle of a glorious Pacific summer, but because Joanna Newsom and Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold (AKA, sometimes, White Antelope) are about to play shows somewhere close enough to your house.
The pair —responsible for two of the best albums of the '00s— played a run of shows in the Midwest together earlier this year, and they apparently liked the vibe enough to do it again.
For anyone not able to witness these sure-to-be-amazing shows in person, the Fleet Foxes website has a treat for you: a 14-minute tour movie chronicling Pecknold's earlier Newsom supports, filmed by the songsmith's brother Sean (and featuring their sister, too, no less).
It's typical tour-movie stuff —random moments of comedy, between-song banter, performances— brought to life by Pecknold's glorious, soaring voice. And to watch it will only cost you 14 minutes of your existence.
