It may be still in the middle of the North American winter, but Summer Festival season just got started. Sure, technically it's still mid-Spring when the musical world descends upon the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California for the increasingly humungazoid Coachella Festival, but, good lord, that California desert can get hot.
The 2010 lineup for Coachella has just been announced, effectively kicking off a run of hot and sweaty festivals. And it's suitably big; with Jay-Z, Gorillaz, Faith No More, Them Crooked Vultures, and Muse at the top of the marquee. Of course, those aren't the names that interest us. Go further down the bill —and you can witness the full lineup at the Coachella website— and you'll find plenty of familiar folk.
