Devendra Banhart to Tour Northeast Behind What Will We Be

Everyone's favorite laugh-a-minute bearded 'naturalismo' bard, Devendra Banhart, is releasing his sixth album, What Will We Be, on October 27. Released by Warner Bros, it marks Banhart's major-label debut, and builds off the genre-hopping, good-time-vibin' feel of 2007's Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon.

In support of such, Mr. Banhart and his merry band (whose members include Rodrigo Amarante of Little Joy, and Banhart's partner in Megapuss crime, the forever-entertaining Greg Rogove) will be playing a run of select shows in the US Northeast.

Presumedly more tourin' will loom in Banhart's future, but for now, catching him jamming at the shows below.

Where We Will Be:
November 16: Chicago, IL - Vic Theatre
November 17: Ann Arbor, MI - The Ark
November 19: Burlington, VT - Higher Ground
November 20: Boston, MA - Berklee
November 22: New York, NY - Town Hall
November 24: Philadelphia, PA - Electric Factory
November 25: Washington, DC - 9:30 Club
November 27: Toronto, Ontario - Queen Elizabeth Theatre
