Interpol's Paul Banks Tours as Julian Plenti

Thursday October 1, 2009
Back in August, Interpol frontman Paul Banks unveiled his musical alter-ego, Julian Plenti. On his first JP LP, the Matador-released Julian Plenti is... Skyscraper, Banks showed that his solo apple hadn't fallen far from the band's tree; with plenty of Plenti jams sounding very much like the old 'pol.

Now, Banks is taking this Julian Plenti show on the road, with a host of tour dates through the US in November and the EU in December. No word on whether Banks will be methoding out, 'in character' as Julian, the entire time.
