A couple of months ago, I introduced you to Micachu, the 21-year-old Londoner, Mica Levy, whose Matthew-Herbert-produced debut album, Jewellery, is one of the ought-nine's most wonderfully odd, unique records.

Back then, Micachu and her live-band, the Shapes, were fresh off a bunch of name-making turns at this year's SXSW. Now, Micachu and the Shapes have lined up an almighty slate of European festivals, with their first-ever headlining tour of North America sandwiched in the middle. If they're tripping through your hometown, know that any chance to see Levy's wonky-person in person is a chance worth taking.
