The Thermals' 1st Kill Rock Stars LP, Now We Can See, Due April 7
Friday December 19, 2008
Snappy, scuzzy, lo-fi Portland punks The Thermals have announced the official details of their forthcoming fourth album, the pair's first for their new label, .Though The Thermals had recorded three albums for Seattle's iconic Sub Pop empire —and inspired the title of Jonathan Poneman's SP sister label Hardly Art— when Kill Rock Stars recently relocated from Olympia, Washington, to the PDX, they were inspired to hook up with their new hometown crew.
The fruits of such a marriage-of-convenience shall be unveiled when Now We Can See is turned out on the 7th of April. The first taste of the record will be a digitally-issued single of its title-track, which will be available on March 10. Come then, we shall see what The Thermals now can see.
